Job Description: Structural Engineer – Steel Structures
Responsibilities:
Design and analyze steel structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure structural integrity and functionality.
Conduct site inspections and assess existing structures for renovation or retrofitting projects.
Perform structural analysis using software tools and validate design assumptions.
Evaluate load-bearing capacities, stability, and safety factors of steel structures.
Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase.
Review and approve shop drawings and fabrication plans.
Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and emerging technologies related to steel structures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on steel structures.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
