Sales Engineer (Steel)
Job Description: Steel Sales Engineer (Purlins, C-Channels, Z-Channels).
Responsibilities:
Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities in the market for purlins, C-channels, Z-channels, and other steel products
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and providing technical solutions.
-Collaborate with internal teams to prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals.
Provide technical guidance and support to customers, offering product recommendations and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote steel products and generate leads.
Monitor sales performance, track customer orders, and ensure timely delivery of products.
-Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (relevant certifications or experience in steel sales preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel industry or related construction materials.
Strong technical knowledge of purlins, C-channels, Z-channels, and other steel products.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
